Graphics – Perimeter Mall
Client: Perimeter Mall
Description: Architecture Design Collaborative (ADC) has worked on this exciting Mall Renovation project in Atlanta, GA since 2013. Led by Craig Chinn, AIA and Alexandra Gomez designed a graphic for the sides of 2 escalators in center court. ADC was inspired by one of Impact Specialties 3D panels that they worked with them to create a 2D image using their Imagitect technology to apply a long-lasting graphic to the large white escalator walls. ADC incorporated some metallic strips at various lengths to break up the graphic and add some movement to the space. The graphic added a fun and subtle texture to the space. Another area that received some graphics designed by ADC was the new main entrance into the mall. The wall just inside of the entrance received a full wall graphic of the downtown Atlanta skyline while the entry corridor is lined with backlit panels with some vibrant imagery of the shopping and dining experience brought to life.
