Description: RedPeak Properties purchased the apartment building at 1311 Cook Street which had been built in 1969 and needed a total building renovation. The Architecture Design Collaborative team of Derek Price, Director and Craig Chinn, AIA, Principal took on the challenge, presented to them by RedPeak, to upgrade the apartment units, the outside of the building, HVAC, and amenities. In each unit there is new trim, closet doors, flooring, paint, kitchen and bathroom cabinets and counter tops, plumbing fixtures, and deck railings. The corridors, laundry rooms, and lobby received new paint and flooring. The existing rooms in the basement were demolished and replaced with a dog washing station, unisex restroom, fitness center and clubroom with kitchen. The outside has new paint and a new canopy over the front entrance. The pool area now has new tile and new landscaping. The upgrades have made the apartments a modern and desirable place to live.
