Rivertown Crossings

Rivertown Crossings

Facts: Mall Renovation, FF&E, 1,267,272 Sq. Ft. of Total Retail Space

Description: GGP, owners and operators of Rivertown Crossings, presented Architecture Design Collaborative with the opportunity to upgrade the Mall without a total renovation.  Led by Craig Chinn, the ADC team completed the project and the result is a mall with a contemporary look and feel.  The exterior now highlights stores with faux windows and backlit graphics.  The new finishes on the building, new guardrails, new awnings, and decorative lighting all add to the new feeling of the Mall.  The owner wanted to keep the Corian and brass textures in high traffic areas.  ADC enhanced those finishes with paint, carpet, and furniture.  The bulkhead around the Center Court received awnings and windows giving it the look of third story outdoor façade.  The food court paint and materials, highlight each food tenant individually.  Contemporary column sconce lighting invites you to sit, eat, and visit in the area.  Entrances, common concourse ceilings, bulkheads, railings, and elevator shaft were all painted giving each area a new look and feel.
