Summer Internship

Architecture Design Collaborative is accepting resumes for their summer internship.

Are you looking for a fun & challenging internship this summer? ADC is a nationally-ranked Architecture Firm that specializes in retail and residential projects. ADC is a fast-paced growing firm with an amazing staff. 

The ideal candidate is a 3rd-4th+ year student held in high standings at their University with an aptitude for new software programs and a desire to work in a creative environment. The office is located in Orange County, CA, and applicants must be able to find their housing and accommodations.

Designer (Architectural Support I & II)

ADC is in search of Entry Level Designers to support the project team in various general and project-specific tasks. Applicants must exercise effective time management and awareness of their impact on the project design, schedule, and budget, and they must conduct work within ADC standards under the direction of a supervisor. They must also be accurate and detail-oriented, have the ability to research and learn various codes/ordinances, possess good graphical skills, and be able to communicate graphically.

The ideal candidate can work positively with the project team, has excellent verbal and written skills, understands deadlines and deliverables, and can participate in all phases of the project with guidance. They should also be able to perform limited coordination between drawings and follow redline comments throughout a set of drawings. 

Applicants must be able to assist in 3D modeling, the creation and coordination of plans, creating a complete set of CAD/BIM backgrounds, and producing design ideas and specifications with direction.

Non Residential Design Process

Qualifications

  • An architectural degree is preferred, but a combination of required education and experience is accepted.
  • Basic understanding and proficiency using AutoCAD and/or REVIT, SketchUp & Adobe Suite
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Travel may be required.
