Tommy Bahama Lahaina

Facts: Tenant Improvement, Retail and Restaurant

Description: Architecture Design Collaborative converted a former 7,000 SF Hard Rock Café into a Tommy Bahama retail store complete with a restaurant, bar and dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and the island of Lanai. Within the existing metal building, a slightly raised sales floor overlooks the restaurant and bar seating areas as well as two new exterior patios. Existing wood finishes were complemented and fully coordinated with crisp new finishes, retail display fixtures and furniture. ADC had to take special care during the design and construction phases as the existing building rests atop an archeological sensitive site in a historic area of the port city. A full-service kitchen and staff support spaces occupy the remaining tenant footprint.
