This project served as the first build-out of a new prototype designed by ADC in collaboration with Bafang Dumpling. The design features a bold, black, modern-style soffit that highlights the point-of-sales area. Large, illuminated letters promoting the restaurant’s logo resemble a lantern and are visible from the inside and out drawing customers inside. Clean lines, with fresh, natural looking materials in light greys and wood tones are main characteristics of the design. In the center of the restaurant is a portal encompassed in wood slats and hosts a communal seating area and central sauce/beverage station. These elements provided a clear delineation of wayfinding for customers. Bold graphics are also showcased throughout the space highlighting Bafang’s story and the location of each store.
