ADC had the opportunity to renovate this regional mall’s food court and transform it into a contemporary food hall. Detailed attention was given to the tile flooring pattern which paved the way for various seating arrangements. The variety of seating was aimed to give the space an eclectic atmosphere unique to each furniture area combined with the column cladding, iron framing, hanging pendants, and planters. The food court tenant bulkheads were resurfaced with paint and textured materials to provide an updated facelift that could complement the fresh new food hall look. The iron framing elements of the space were custom fabricated with combinations of reclaimed wood and other materials to ensure that Mall St. Matthews’ food hall kept its unique character and gave the consumers a new space to enjoy.
