Located at Tyson’s Galleria in Mclean, VA, Architecture Design Collaborative (ADC) retrofitted the existing elevator tower with a new Digital Sign and new patterned screen elements. Retaining the existing elevator enclosure and cab, the ADC team coordinated with Structural and Sign consultants to facilitate the concept into production and construction. ADC provided new finishes at the base cage, removed the existing elevator cage, and structurally retrofitted the existing base to support the new screen structure. The sign and light elements alter the existing elevator cage into a bright, modern focal point for the mall.
