Transforming a Former Restaurant into a Vibrant Wild Fork Store

Architecture Design Collaborative (ADC) has turned a former restaurant space into a new Wild Fork store in Long Beach, California. In fact, ADC’s adaptive reuse project creatively transformed an existing building. This promotes sustainability through innovative design.

Maximizing Visibility and Brand Presence

Wild Fork Foods’ 5,960 sq ft Long Beach spot offers a unique chance to expand its presence. For instance, it has:

  • Many surfaces for eye-catching signs and branding
  • Lots of windows for views into the inviting interior
  • A prime spot in a busy area to attract customers

As a result, ADC designed a modern, captivating store that embodies the Wild Fork brand.

Key Design Changes

To bring the vision to life, ADC made several key design changes for the Wild Fork space:

Exterior Refresh

Bold signs, lighting, and architectural elements updated the exterior. These align with Wild Fork’s style. Consequently, these changes create an impactful street presence that draws customers in.

Open, Inviting Layout

Inside, an intuitive layout optimizes the space to showcase products. It also creates a welcoming shopping experience. Additionally, thoughtful sight lines and visual merchandising maximize the store’s visibility. They engage customers from the moment they enter.

Brand Immersion

Every aspect of the interior was carefully chosen to create an immersive experience. From finishes and fixtures to graphics and branded elements. As a result, this attention to detail ensures that customers are fully engaged with the brand.

Sustainable Features

The project also incorporates energy-efficient lighting, mechanical systems, and eco-friendly materials. These align with Wild Fork’s commitment to sustainability. Furthermore, these features minimize the store’s environmental impact as well as reduce operating costs.

A Vibrant New Retail Destination

In conclusion, ADC’s creative problem-solving and attention to detail transformed the space. It is now a compelling retail destination.
