Anton Arcade is a 148-unit affordable housing community in Sacramento’s established Arden Arcade neighborhood and marked ADC’s first residential project. Developed with Anton Development on an approximately five-acre urban infill site, the three-story community achieves a density of roughly 30 units per acre while providing a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences.

ADC designed the community with a contemporary architectural character intended to give the affordable development the same level of identity and quality expected from market-rate housing. Residential buildings are organized around a central amenity program that includes a clubhouse with lounge and community spaces, fitness facilities, an outdoor pool and recreation area, play space, and resident services.

Sustainability was integrated into the project through energy-efficient design strategies including a cool roof, exterior shading, drought-tolerant landscaping, Energy Star appliances, and participation in the Build It Green program. Anton identifies the completed community as GreenPoint Rated Gold. Its walkable location also provides convenient access to public transportation, nearby retail, and Country Club Mall.
