ADC developed an art and graphics program for the MTSD office in Irvine, using Southern California coastal imagery to give individual conference rooms their own identity. ADC curated the photography and selected images that could work at architectural scale throughout the office.

Wall-to-wall photographic graphics bring different Southern California beach scenes into the conference rooms, while another space uses a large backlit image of a breaking wave. Rather than treating the artwork as decoration added at the end, the images were selected and located as part of the interior experience.

At the main entrance, ADC developed the concept for a custom mosaic based on an aerial view of the Pacific Coast Highway meeting the beach and ocean. ADC worked with local mosaic artist Susan Abass to translate the concept into the finished installation. Abass is a Southern California tile and mosaic artist whose work includes large-scale mural installations
