Project Role: Architecture + Interior Design
Mirror Los Angeles brought a new type of luxury fitness experience to Westfield Century City, translating MIRROR’s digital at-home training platform into a physical environment where customers could see, test, and experience the technology before bringing it into their homes. ADC worked with Pinhero Construction and MIRROR as the brand began expanding from a digital fitness platform into brick-and-mortar locations.
At the center of the experience was MIRROR’s interactive fitness system, combining the appearance of a full-length mirror with a connected display offering live and on-demand workouts, personal training, and real-time fitness feedback. The physical showroom gave prospective members an opportunity to move beyond simply viewing the product online and experience how the technology could become part of a personal wellness routine.
ADC’s architectural work adapted the brand’s showroom concept to the specific conditions of Westfield Century City, coordinating the tenant improvement, building requirements, technology, and customer experience within a compact luxury retail setting. The architecture remains intentionally restrained, allowing the interactive fitness product and demonstration experience to become the focus.
Mirror Los Angeles represents an early intersection of fitness, wellness, technology, and physical space. Rather than designing a conventional gym filled with equipment, the project created an environment centered on personalized training and connected wellness, reflecting the shift toward fitness experiences that extend beyond the traditional health club.
