Tanger Outlets Phoenix | Glendale

ADC renovated the common areas at Tanger Outlets Phoenix in Glendale, updating the courts and pedestrian corridors throughout the open-air shopping center. The project focused on making the exterior spaces more comfortable in Arizona’s climate while giving the existing center a clearer and more consistent identity.

Shade was a central part of the design. ADC developed a series of custom structures ranging from smaller cabanas to large pavilions that provide covered places for shoppers to sit, dine, and gather. New exterior furniture, updated lighting and landscaping, and new paint colors across the building facades extend the renovation throughout the center.

The redesigned common areas also include outdoor dining courts, a children’s play area, and a pedestrian plaza. Together, these changes turn spaces that were primarily circulation areas into places where visitors can stop and spend time.
