ADC refreshed the interior of The Oaks Mall in Gainesville by introducing color, hierarchy, and more inviting places for shoppers to pause and gather. The existing common areas were largely neutral, so the design used contrasting accents and custom furniture to give different zones greater definition and personality. New seating was designed to support a range of uses, from charging a device to meeting friends or stopping for coffee. The renovation brought new energy to the mall without relying on a complete rebuild, using furniture, color, and targeted interior improvements to create a livelier and more comfortable customer experience.
