Valley Farm Market brings a longtime San Diego institution to Del Mar Plaza. ADC provided architecture and interior design for the specialty market so the brand’s neighborhood-market roots read as one space — not a shell with interiors added later.

The plan is organized around how people shop: butcher and seafood counters, produce, specialty goods, prepared food, and everyday items. An open ceiling, warm wood, dark fixtures, and simple detailing keep the architecture quiet so the market itself carries the color and energy. Layout, lighting, circulation, and merchandising were designed together so a compact footprint still feels open and easy to move through.

The finished store respects Valley Farm Market’s history and gives the brand a clear expression in its Del Mar location.
