Ashley Furniture Colton is a large showroom at 855 Ashley Way, at the I-10 and I-215 interchange in the Inland Empire. ADC renovated both the exterior and the interior of this roughly 80,000-square-foot store so the building and the sales floor work as one updated retail environment.

On the outside, the renovation refreshed the facade, entries, and how the store presents itself from the freeway and the parking field. The goal was a clearer, more current Ashley identity at a scale that matches one of the brand’s largest California locations.

Inside, the tenant improvement reworked the showroom so furniture, mattress, and accessory departments read as a continuous path rather than a warehouse of product. Lighting, finishes, and circulation were updated to make an 80,000-square-foot floor easier to shop and easier to merchandise.

Exterior and interior were designed together so the arrival sequence — from the lot through the doors onto the floor — feels like the same project. The result is a large-format Ashley store that looks and operates like a current flagship, not a dated box with a new paint color.
