Architecture Design Collaborative (ADC) and the mall team worked together to create this lounge project. The ADC team worked with the client to convert several in-line tenant spaces to an open lounge for the public to enjoy. ADC worked with material vendors such as American Import Tile, Treefrog, Daltile, Metal Ceiling Express Tile and The Gallery Chicago to bring this speak-easy lounge to life. The lounge includes new furniture and games, two kiosk vendors as well as some pop up vendor displays. The design created a trendy space with some unique furniture selections, accent lighting, and ceiling tiles as well as some table games for the mall consumers to stop by and enjoy. Two kiosks serving baked goods are also featured in the space: Jones Cupcakes and Auntie Anne’s. Some pop-up market merchandising display units give some of their retailers and vendors a chance to occupy and sell merchandise seasonally throughout the year.
