Grailed Gallery is a private tattoo studio created by Frank Sanchez and Lawry Fong. Their work is black-and-grey realism, set in rooms that are meant to feel closer to a West Coast gallery than a typical tattoo shop. The Rodeo 72 location is their second studio, built as a tenant inside the public market at 7012 Walnut Grove Drive in Whittier.

ADC designed the interior so the studio could sit inside a food hall and still feel controlled. Clients walk in from a busy market. The room has to read as a gallery and a working studio: a place to wait, a place for the artists, and a place where the work is the focus. Lighting, layout, and finishes were used to quiet the space without cutting it off from Rodeo 72.

The project is a small-format tenant improvement, not a standalone building. The design treats the shop as part of the market’s mix — food, retail, and now a tattoo gallery — while giving Grailed the privacy a session actually needs.
