Tommy Bahama Lahaina

ADC provided architecture and interior design for Tommy Bahama’s Lahaina location, adapting a former Hard Rock Cafe into a combined retail store and Marlin Bar. The design organizes shopping, restaurant, bar, kitchen, and support spaces within the existing building while opening the experience to two exterior patios and views toward the Pacific. Existing wood was paired with crisp new finishes, display fixtures, and furniture to create a relaxed island character without losing the building’s history. The project also required careful coordination because of its location within historic Lahaina and on an archaeologically sensitive site.
