Our Portfolio of Architectural Success

Are you an architect looking for an exciting opportunity at a firm that measures architectural success in your personal fulfillment and the impact you make on the day-to-day lives of others? Do you want to envision and design a better world and bring that world to life? At Architecture Design Collaborative (ADC), we understand that architecture is an art form unlike any other because it touches every corner of a person’s life, meaning you can design and color their lives with enjoyment through your work.

Since 2014, we have been a nationally ranked architecture firm providing Southern California with innovative residential and commercial designs we are proud to include in our portfolio. Explore highlights of our portfolio in our blog.

Our Residential Architectural Success

The home is the most intimate space a person experiences, making residential designs great vehicles to genuinely improve people’s day-to-day lives. We partner closely with developers and our residential architects collaborate extensively on each residential project.

Every artist dreams of leaving a lasting impression on the world through their work, and that’s what you will do with ADC. One project we are thrilled to have completed recently is a new multi-family construction development in Davis, California called The Celeste

The Celeste is one example of the projects you can work on that make an impact on people’s lives. This 225-unit 7.2-acre development consists of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments across three different three- and four-story residential buildings.

It also has a range of outdoor amenities, including a community room, a fitness center, a clubhouse, a pool area, solar panels for renewable energy, and a dog walk area.

“With The Celeste, we had a clear vision from the start. We weren’t just designing buildings; we were laying the foundation for a community and members of this community to come together and create something special through the luxury of the amenities. We carefully curated an ambiance to ensure that, for the people living in this complex, every day will feel like a holiday. For us, that kind of impact is the measure of architectural success.”

At ADC, you will also have the opportunity to do meaningful work that truly makes a difference in the current economic climate by giving people opportunities to enjoy a higher quality of life that would have otherwise been unattainable.

Another recent project we are thrilled to have completed is a three-story, multifamily affordable development in Pomona, California, called Villa Esperanza. This project consists of two tuck-underbuildings and provides indoor and outdoor amenities for residents, like:

  • Multiple community rooms
  • An after-school program
  • A community garden
  • A tot lot

“Making affordable housing is more important than ever in the current climate, and this was a shining example of how you can leave a lasting mark on the world through design. Our mission was to elevate the quality of affordable housing constructions because we believe everyone deserves luxury and a high quality of life, no matter their income level. It feels good to make a difference and architect the kind of world we all want to live in, and that mission makes us one of the most innovative and best architecture firms in Southern California.

Our Commercial Architectural Success

Commercial architecture jobs provide the opportunity to work at ADC, and it’s another opportunity to make a difference in your community.

One project we worked on was a complete $36 million mall renovation. This renovation encompassed everything on the inside and outside, and it touched every component of the space that people saw and experienced.

“This renovation was probably one of the coolest projects we’ve been involved in. We redid the entire mall, and it impacted everyone who stepped foot inside the development. From the tenants to the maintenance people, things like new flooring and wall paint really made a difference in their daily lives. That’s the ADC definition of architectural success.”

Craig Chinn, President, ADC

Still, commercial structures are more than places where people shop. On projects like this, you have the opportunity to curate a space that helps families, friends, and communities come together and get the most out of the time they spend with each other.

“We went to great lengths to make the building more durable and the designs more engaging. People come here for enjoyment, and it’s a privilege to maximize that. I guess, at the end of the day, it feels pretty good when you work on a project that impacts the entire community. And we provide countless opportunities to do that, from big retail projects to food halls to mall renovations to multifamily developments. Here, you’ll make a difference.”

– Craig Chinn, President, ADC

We accomplish this by working closely with clients and never just looking at problems from the surface. We collaborate with each other and developers to dig into projects and find different approaches. In doing so, we always present two options:

  • What the client asked for.
  • What we envision when we first receive the project.

90% of the time, clients go with our option because we think outside of the box to create innovative and engaging designs and the perfect company culture for architectural success.
